Classes? Over.

Finals? Looming.

My sanity? Questionable.

Welcome to reading period — that strange stretch of time when you’re technically not in class, but definitely not on break either. It’s the academic limbo where we all collectively pretend we’re “catching up on studying,” but in reality, we’re just circling Val snacks, Googling if cold brew counts as a meal, and asking ourselves, “Do I really need to rewrite my entire research paper… or just vibe?”

Since things are wrapping up and I’ve officially survived another semester, I thought I’d take a break from the reflective, deep-diving blogs and do something I’ve really been looking forward to: have fun with it.

This reading period, I’m going full comedy mode — but make it Amherst. Think chaotic lists, SpongeBob memes, and a little light self-dragging as a treat. Because honestly, what better way to get through finals season than by laughing at how utterly cooked we all are?

So consider this your official update:

If you see me posting about food, ranking buildings based on vibes alone, or writing odes to the squirrel I made eye contact with yesterday… just go with it. I’m having a moment. It’s still academically relevant. Sort of.

This is my favorite kind of blogging — the kind where I get to be creative, funny, and deeply unserious… while still capturing what it’s like to be a student here, especially when we’re all just trying to make it to the other side of finals with our GPA and emotional stability intact.

Thanks for sticking with me through the thoughtful posts and the unhinged ones. Let’s finish this semester with a little chaos and a lot of laughs.
