Hello everyone! My name is Grace, and I am a rising sophomore in the Class of 2028. I am an international student who calls both Beijing, China and Sydney, Australia home. I am currently double-majoring in Economics and Biology. I also love taking courses in the LJST (Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought) department.

Outside of academics, I serve as the Logistics Chair of the Mock Trial team. I am a member of Women in Finance, and I enjoy swimming whenever I get the chance. On campus, I wear a few different hats. I work in Professor Miller’s lab, where I run genetic tests on Goji berries. I also serve as a Community Advisor at the Zü (Humphries House). And last but not least, I am a Visitor Relations Intern in the Office of Admission, which is why I am writing this blog post!

I look forward to sharing more about life at Amherst College, and I hope my stories offer a helpful and honest glimpse into the student experience here. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to email me at ycheng28@amherst.edu.
