Hi! My name is Sophie Goldsmith (she/her), and I am a senior at Amherst College. I currently live in Atlanta, but grew up in Tampa, FL. I’m a biology and French double major, and am on the pre-med track. I am the president of Amherst’s Democrats club, am on the Hillel e-board, and participate in the Outing Club and the water polo team. In my free time, I love to read, do crossword puzzles, crochet, and run marathons.
This year, I will complete my final few major requirements, finish up pre-med requirements, study for the MCAT, write a French thesis, and train for and run a marathon. I will apply to some fellowships for post-graduation, and think about life after Amherst while trying to savor every moment I have left here.
